Volunteer firefighters put their lives on the line every day, on every call. There is no better example of a volunteer. Sadly, many departments are struggling to keep their doors open due to issues like inadequate funding, volunteer recruitment and retention.
Many of the volunteer fire departments protecting you are dangerously underfunded and in desperate need of your help.
Your contribution to training a firefighter is one of the most powerful investments you can make. It can take up to $15,000 and 3000 hours to adequately train a volunteer firefighter. They can’t stay safe without your help.
